Stockholm International Team Race

Gamla Stans Yacht Sällskap (GSYS) is proud to present the Stockholm International Team Race Regatta (SITR), a thrilling precursor to the World Championships in Team Racing for keelboats, which GSYS will host in 2026 as the first European club ever to be given this honour.
Since it's inception in 2016, the popular J/80 regatta attracts teams from the New York Yacht Club, the Royal Thames Yacht Club, the Annapolis Yacht Club, the Newport Harbor Club, and GSYS.
This year the regatta will be held outside the town hall at Riddarfjärden. The same sailing arena as the coming world championship 2026! Team Racing in the middle of the capital of Scandinavia - Stockholm, in fresh waters and walking distance to all of Stockholm during leisure time.
